PHANTOMS FORMER SINGER SAYS GROUP IS IN TROUBLE BECAUSE…..
Former PHANTOMS vocalist CLINTON BENOIT told me over the weekend when we asked him that PHANTOMS is going to have it tough after KINO’s departure only because
CLINTON “JENSEN does NOT function well WHEN KINO IS NOT THERE. When KINO is there, JENSEN is able to relax and focus on other stuff, but I have been there because I was the one that replaced Kino when he first left, JENSEN is a bit bewildered when KINO is NOT there. It might be very tough for them.”
When we asked CLINTON if he has thoughts of taking over for KINO again, he told me this.
CLINTON “NO. I don’t mind if asked, to help Phantoms from time to time, but in terms of playing full time and replacing Kino, the answer is NO. I have other projects that I am focusing on right now.”
CLINTON tells me that he is COOL with both KINO and PHANTOMS, so he has no issues whatsoever with either camp.
