NU LOOK/FELDER REUNION LOOMING?

felder.jpgBeing that FELDER is very close to BIZNIS, would it be safe or not to say that he will see the rest of his former band mates in NU LOOK face to face, for the first time since he abruptly left the group, or will he choose to skip those 3 dates?

FELDER saw GAZZMAN the other day for the first time at the Compasfest press conference…but we are not aware that he’s seen the rest of the guys…and that includes maestro Arly Lariviere.

ZENGLEN ARTIST CONFIRMATIONS FOR 20TH YEAR BASH………….

zenglen20th2.jpgAccording to BRUTUS, the artists (former members) that are CONFIRMED for the group’s 20th year bash so far in Miami are

*GARY DIDIER PEREZ (Original singer who sung HIT first CD)

*FELDER ANTOINE

*EMMANUEL OBAS

NICKENSON and ARLY LARIVIERE responded positively to the invite, but according to Brutus, ARLY might be in Montreal with Nu Look on that day, and NICKENSON might be in ORLANDO with Harmonik.

REGINALD CANGE is being contacted……

NU LOOK & N.Y FOS BARON FESTIVAL STANDOFF CONTINUES!

gazz1.jpgNU LOOK and the LABOR DAY FESTIVAL (FOS BARON) showdown continues as this year once again, they are NOT part of the festival.

We went straight to the source on this.

KM: Why once again is LABOR DAY FESTIVAL not featuring NU LOOK in their lineup?

LABOR DAY FESTIVAL representative REGINALD: “Hi pat,

We did reach out to the band’s manager/representative in NY for them to be part of our line up this year. We explained to him that it was time for us to put our differences aside and restore the relationship we once had. Up to this day the manager/representative has not call us back like he promised. Since NU LOOK and our organization have one common goal toward a community, we thought it was the only logical thing to do by extending an invitation to them. Therefore, I can only conclude that they do not want to be part of Pre Labor Day Fest. The show will go on as usual without NU LOOK.”

I am sooo excited about what I have just experienced with the band… Not only where we the only act for the night, but it seems that the people have been waiting for Carimi for a while now… I am gonna try to make u guys live our first trip in new caledonia as it took us 2 days to get there and back and it was one of the most intense experience that we have had for a while now…

For those who don’t know where it is, ck ur map to the right of Australia, way south of Japan next to islands like Tahiti, not too far from L.A. if u are in to 20 hour trips… it’s about 10 times the size of Martinique with about 200,000 people… They are called Canack and look a lot like Hawaiian.. I have divided the activities into several folders and I will use this thread to post everything…

We left NY on wednesday morning June 3 in route to Japan… there we had to stay the night and only had time to go out to eat… I had posted those pics in another thread.

We finally arrived in Noumea at 10hpm on friday night June 5th and only had time to rest for the next day… The people here are super nice and the welcome with the flowers made me remember my trip to Maui…

Enjoy the pics… n507726355_2151014_8221781.jpg

BELJAZ MANAGER LIKES HIS GROUP’S POSITION COMPARED TO…….

orlandofest2009b.jpgTalking to BELJAZ co-manager and former Hangout manager BRUNO today, he says he likes the position that his band is in right now compared to….his former band.

BRUNO actually did NOT want to talk about his former group HANGOUT by saying “Nap fe zafe pa nou, yap fe zafe pa yo”…but we got him to bring out a few things.

We asked him if he is in a better position right now with BELJAZ, compared to Hangout, he beamed “AH PATRICK MON CHER. Come on Patrick. 500% better.”

BRUNO continues “In BELJAZ, every single decision is discussed between 4 people, myself, Jocelyn, which is our other manager, Ralph Menelas, and Pipo. We have meetings or conference calls to discuss every thing. The band that I was with before, if I wanted to do certain things, there would always be some “ENMERDEMENT”.

BRUNO continues “I can tell you right now, BELJAZ IS IN THE TOP 5 in terms of bands that are playing the best compas LIVE out there on the market. NO DOUBT about that.”

BRUNO says “We have a very good CD which is getting lots of airplay everywhere, so we are working to continue the road.”

PIPO DOES NOT DESERVE THAT LABEL SAYS

pipo.jpgPIPO does NOT deserve the “ATTITUDE” or “BAD GUY” tag tht he’s been labeled with for so many years says BELJAZ co-manager and good friend Bruno. As a matter of fact, he is willing to issue a challenge to help make his point.

BRUNO: “I want anyone to come and tell me an incident ON STAGE and OFF STAGE where PIPO did or said something to them that would give him the right to have that “Attitude” or “Bad Guy” tag on him. It’s possible that on that particular day, he probably had a bad day, just like everyone of us is allowed to have. He is human, but he does NOT deserve that “BAD GUY” or “ATTITUDE” tag that has been put on him. I have been working with him for many years, and I have NOT seen that.”
